About Me:
Being in the mountains of Colorado was a dream of mine for years. I moved here in 1996, shortly after graduating from the University of Florida. I consider myself a semi-native to the area. With my wife Jennifer and children, Joseph (14) and Zoe (11), I enjoy getting out on the trails and enjoying our state.
I have been a teacher in Jeffco since 2005 and have been at Lakewood since 2011. I became a science teacher because I believe that STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) are vitally important to our nation's economic health, security, quality of life, and environmental stability. Young people are natural innovators and they hold the keys to the future. My job is to give today's youth the tools to become informed adults, in possession of the problem solving skills needed to make a positive impact on the world, while fulfilling their maximum potential.
